About Maribel Schaff
Originally from Chihuahua, Mexico. Maribel's first formal overall dance training was with the dance company “Danza Jazz Stage” in Chihuahua, Mexico. Maribel has trained through a variety of intense classes with professional choreographers like Misha Gabriel, Mia Michaels, Marty Dew, Brian, Doug, Robert Prescott Lee, Joelle Martinec, Jeff "PHI" Nguyen, Napoleon and Tabatha, Brian Freedman, Wes Veldik, Julie Bour, Jeff Amsden, Michele Assaf, Tyce Diorio, and many more. During summers she continues her intensive training at the Broadway Center, Steps of Broadway in New York, Velocity Dance Center in Seattle,Contemporary Ballet Dallas and Betty Loose.
Maribel was voted as one of the Best Dancers in the adult division at AMTC international talent and model competition in Orlando, Florida. Maribel has earn first places and awards in the hip hop and contemporary categories as well as best choreographer awards in different competitions. Maribel is certified in different styles of Latin dance (salsa, merengue and bachata).
Maribel’s professional performances are: AMTC International talent and model Competitions, Danza Jazz Stage Co, Outlaws dance team (award as the Best IFL team in the state), Rimrock opera performances, Videology- with the hip hop industry with Patron G and Big Gemini, background dancer for Hannibal comedian show, opening concert for Eric Bellinger, opening concert for Patron G and Preston Wayne, Tutu Cool, and many more.
Maribel is constantly creating flash mobs in the city of Billings, Mt, to promote non profit organizations, as special olympics and Venture Teather now call Nova.
Maribel is one of the original dancers and choreographer members of Terpsichore Dance Company.
Maribel owns a business marketing Administration degree and a master in Curriculum and Instruction with an endorsement in Spanish and business. She is currently enjoying the love for education as Spanish Teacher at West High School and as a dance teacher in different studios in town.
Maribel is currently directing RaizEtna Dance Company.
In 2016 Maribel stablished the non profit organization call El'S Clay. She is Co directing this company to bring positive and valuable messages to society trough performances with a variety of arts.
